A FUSION frame weighs between 6.5 and 7.8 grams.
Each piece of a frame is thougth to be as practical as possible. Materials are chosen for those pieces to be thin and light.

Titanium alloy - thin, light and flexible
Temples and end-pieces are cut from a high-performance titanium alloy. Its outstanding mechanical properties are made possible by its quasicristal structure awarded 2011 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. It is unique for its excellent joining and forming properties and its extremely high tensile strength.
The acetate front is reinforced by a thin metal stripe cut in this same alloy. This piece maintains the bending of the acetate front.
Bio Acetate from Mazzucchelli, made in Italy
Front and temple tips are made out of bio acetate from Mazzucchelli. The fabrication process of this acetate manages to avoid a big part of polluting solvents used in traditional processes. The density of the acetate is also improved by a compression step.

Adjustable ergonomics
The metal reinforcement on the top of the acetate front also allows different pads to be fixed. As with Rimless frames, different shapes of pad arms are available, making almost any perfect fit possible for any type of nose.
